Will the GI Bill pay for an out of state college

Will the GI Bill pay for an out of state college?
As of now, I live in Alabama. I am wanting to attend college in Nevada in the Fall. Will the GI Bill only pay for an in-state college? Or will I be able to go to a Nevada college through the GI Bill? Thanks!

Answer 1 :
GI Bill is Federal, not State.
Answer 2 :
It will pay, but the new post 9-11 gi bill can be confusing. call the VA office with the details about the school you plan to attend.
Answer 3 :
The GI Bill is a federal thing.
Answer 4 :
Are you recently out and you are talking about the Post 9/11 GI Bill? If so the rules are it will pay up to the highest undergraduate public school at the in state tuition level. The problem is not will it pay for out of state, it doesn't care where you attend, the problem is that it will only pay to a certain level. If you are using the old MGIB, then the tuition is paid to you and you use it to pay your tuition.
Answer 5 :
Yes you can as long as you get accepted into those colleges.
Answer 6 :
yes they have a cap for each state's max. they will pay upto that cap and if it's under then good, if over you need to cover the rest. google gi bill. should be the first one or 2nd to find out the cap. look into yellow ribbon program, some schools match to help cover extra costs.
