If I transfer from the Community College of Southern Nevada to UNLV will they want to see my SAT/ACT scores?
I'm going to transfer to UNLV as a junior.

nope, I transfered in as a junior this past spring and no SAT ever taken because I had a GED in the first place... lol But no because you have college credit earned.

You can find some contact information for Nevada colleges here. http://www.collegereviewed.com/Nevada-Colleges-Universities.html Students always seem to know what's going on better than outsiders since they spend so much time on campus.

do i have to be a snowboarder or be on the snowboard team to go to Sierra Nevada college?
i want to go there but i dont think i would make the snowboard and was wondering if that was a requirement to go there?

As long as you have money pretty much any college will let you in. If this place is a snowboard college I bet that they are pretty lax and won't care if you don't snowboard.

Has anyone received financial aid award notice yet through College of Southern Nevada's new MyCSN website

Has anyone received financial aid award notice yet through College of Southern Nevada's new MyCSN website?
Ever since they switched to the new website its harder to navigate and find information. When I look at awards all its been saying is "2012 Award is not yet available", so theres nothing to view. Yet CSN website says notifications have started since June 20th. Anyone get a notice yet?

I've been having the same issue, I called today and they said we should know by July 15, 2011.

How difficult can a California graduate go to a community college down at Las Vegas Nevada?
I am graduating soon and i plan to go to CSN and transfer to UNLV, i live in California and i know going to a school in a different state can get complicated

right now out of state schools would love to have you. they can charge more for you to go there so it shouldnt be hard at all

To get into a community college all you have to do is sign up and pay. They don't have entrance requirements. You better check what will you need to transfer though to UNLV in that they are a university and do have standards.
Answer 3 :
Complicated yes. Not all classes at CSN transfer to UNLV. You need to apply and see if accepted, and realize there are no scholarships for non-residents. Where are you going to stay? How are you going to pay for CSN with unemployment over 14%, etc.
