Can I get a copy of transcripts from college, even though I didn't finish

Can I get a copy of transcripts from college, even though I didn't finish.?
I went to school at a private college in Nevada and was wondering if it was possible if I could get a copy of it. Would it cost me money or what?

Answer 1 :
Yes, a transcript is just a record of the courses you took and whether you passed them or not. It will cost $
Answer 2 :
yes, for a fee
Answer 3 :
Yes, as long as you don't owe them money from those dropped classes you can get transripts. You might have to pay a small fee.
Answer 4 :
Yes contact registrar's office. Not sure about cost though, sorry.
Answer 5 :
Yes, you can get a copy. It will probably cost you somewhere between $5 and $15. This would be for your own use, in case you are wondering about your own record. If you are planning to do this because you are applying for a job or another college, keep in mind that they won't accept a transcript that has passed through your hands. You have to order the transcripts from the Nevada school to be sent directly to the employer or other school.

Would I get an In-state discount on college

Would I get an In-state discount on college?
I am a junior in Pennsylvania my parents got divorced and my dad live in Las Vegas Nevada. I want to attend University of Nevada Las Vegas. Would I get an In-state discount on college?
Higher Education (University +) - 4 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
Yes. If he has lived there for the required time period and claims you on his taxes.
Answer 2 :
Yes, I agree. If your father has established residency (lived there at least 12 consecutive months by the time that you enroll), you will have instate tuition/discount. I am uncertain if he has to claim you on his taxes for this to be so. From what I have seen (and from my experience) it should not matter, I doubt they will even ask.
Answer 3 :
You should. But all you have to do is call or email admissions at U of N and ask
Answer 4 :
You have to ask the school if that is acceptable. Some states require you to graduate high school in that state. Some are OK with your situation. And see if you can get into computer or electrical engineering. I toured the new building before it opened and it is really nice. The director of the department is a really great guy too. And the department is next to the only parkade on campus. Where you can park your car in the shade. Believe me, after your first month in Las Vegas you will find out how important this is.

How can I be a Nevada resident

How can I be a Nevada resident?
I'm going to UNLV for Hotel Management and plan to live in Las Vegas during and after college moving from California but I heard after a year living in Las Vegas you can apply as a Nevada resident. Is this true? How can you apply? Are their alot of steps? I know after I get approved I can apply for in state tuition. Any info would be great.
Las Vegas - 5 Answers

Answer 1 :
You don't apply to be a resident. You are a resident from the time you move there, but most universities only give in-state prices to people who have lived there for a year or more. You just have to show you've been living there for a year (bills mailed to your address there a year ago, driver's license, etc).
Answer 2 :
As with so many of the questions that are asked here a better and more immediate answer could be found by typing your basic question in the "Web Search" box at the top of this page. In your case, Establishing Nevada Residency will get you directly to a page with all the details.
Answer 3 :
Dude, just rent an apartment and get a phone in your name. Boom you're a resident.
Answer 4 :
There is no application to become a resident. Rent an apartment and get bills sent to your address. Go to the DMV and change your drivers license to your Las Vegas address. Ta Daaaaaa ... you are then a resident. Once you have your ID you can register to vote here. You can do that as soon as you get your first bill or lease to show that you have moved here. The time factor has to do with registering your car here. You have to register it here within six months of moving here. After that there is a fine.
Answer 5 :
Nevada Residency Requirements You must be a Nevada resident and provide a Nevada street address to obtain a driver license. Active duty military members, their dependents and others living temporarily in Nevada are not required to transfer their license and registration. If you obtain non-military employment, however, you become a Nevada resident and must obtain a Nevada license and registration. Licenses are not issued to visitors, out-of-state students or foreign exchange students. Other foreign nationals may or may not be eligible for a license depending on their specific immigration status. E-Mail or call for details and see Beginning Drivers 18 & Older. Nevada Revised Statutes 483.141 “Resident” defined. 1. “Resident” includes, but is not limited to, a person: (a) Whose legal residence is in the State of Nevada. (b) Who engages in intrastate business and operates in such a business any motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer, or any person maintaining such vehicles in this state, as the home state of such vehicles. (c) Who physically resides in this state and engages in a trade, profession, occupation or accepts gainful employment in this state. (d) Who declares himself to be a resident of this state to obtain privileges not ordinarily extended to nonresidents of this state. 2. The term does not include a person who is an actual tourist, an out-of-state student, a foreign exchange student, a border state employee or a seasonal resident. *** For Nevada state tuition Last year's W2 Copy of DL Proof of residency over 12 months (lease, utility bill, etc.) Copy from employer stating dates of employment. For the 2010-2011 academic year, Nevada residents will pay $103.25 per credit for tuition, plus student fees University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Residency Application http://www.unlv.edu/admissions/pdf/residency-app.pdf
