i live in nevada, ive been wanting to move to minnesota since the first time i went there when i was like 8, now im going to be 18 next month. if i go there il be living in a dorm room at bemidji university (if i get accepted) . my boyfriend wants to go to texas where his brother lives, which i have no problem with, but i missed up horriable in high school, so i would be just going to a community college and we would be living with my boyfriends brother till we get jobs and get enough money to move out. i applyed also to nevada state and im sure ill get accepted but i absolutly do not want to live in nevada any more. i hate the hot summers and i want to see snow each winter. also theres 12 people who live in my house, plain and simply it just doesnt work out. i was just looking for some advice and opinions on what i should do and where i should go.

Answer 1 :
The summers in Texas are just as hot as Nevada, so if you're looking for snow, head to Minnesota.
Answer 2 :
you wanna see snow. you. are. adorable. do you know that the vikings stadium collapsed a few days ago because of snow? THERE WAS ENOUGH SNOW TO COLLAPSE A FREAKIN BUILDING. minnie is serious sh*t. its not like ohh pretty, lets throw on some gloves and make a snowman. its below freezing, feet and feet and feet of snow (like 5 feet of snow on the ground is totally normal), and you need to put like, snow tires on your car. go to texas. besides, you can drive to padre for spring break. done and done.
Answer 3 :
You could always try northern Nevada, like UNR. We have plenty of snow; today it's barely hitting 40, and snow is expected tonight. And as a resident, you'll get a break on tuition. On the other hand, I can understand the desire to get out and LEAVE, go see somewhere new and leave the old disasters behind. If you get accepted to Bemidji, I'd run like a rabbit. You may not like it, but how will you know unless you try?
