I am going to school at a college in Nevada. I am going to apply for residency this semester. If I am accepted as a resident does that make my husband a resident as well? Does anyone have any websites with advice on this stuff?

No, it doesn't.
Answer 2 :
Obviously not. He has to apply for residency too.
Answer 3 :
Residency in a state is generally determined by one's primary residence. If he's not living with you in Nevada, or even living in Nevada, then he's not a resident.
Answer 4 :
What makes you a resident is where you live. Does he live in Nevada? If so, does he have a NV driver's license or some other ID or proof that he lives there like a utility bill? Now if you're talking about being a "legal immigrant" that's something completely different.
Answer 5 :
Colleges as far as I know request one year of living at a provable address.Your situation and his are totally different. His addresses are his history, his bills, bank accounts are valid proof of where he has lived. If your trying to get him in school with that thought, no it wont happen.
