Answer 3 :
I forget, which is surprising considering she's a white girl. When a white girl goes missing, usually she becomes a household name, so I'm surprised I don't remember. Oh well, now she's as anonymous to me as the thousands of other people who go missing every year.

Does anyone know of Universities/college in Nevada offering majors in AVIATION?I want to become AIRLINE PILOT?

I guess my next question will b "does anyone know of states close to nevada that have Universities offering AVIATION" i would say california its the closest one to nevada...Utha maybe?? OH i should probably say this...Reno has some..I should say small aviation schools, but i don't think there good for me, I DEFINITELY WANT to attend college/university because its better, BUT I CAN'T FIND ANY IN NEVADA

Answer 1 :
I don't know of any schools in Nevada (or anywhere for that matter) that offer a 4 yr. aviation degree BUT the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) in Las Vegas does offer an aviation degree. It's a 66 credit course: The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Aviation Technology prepares students who seek careers as professional pilots. Upon graduation, students will have earned an FAA Private Pilot Certificate, FAA Instrument Rating and an FAA Commercial Pilot Certification, as well as the degree. Classroom and lab instruction utilizes, modern flight simulators and state-of-the-art aviation training devices. FAA Certificated Flight Instructors provide all flight instruction in conjunction with our community partner flight school providers. Students must meet all eligibility requirements determined by the Federal Aviation Administration and the Transportation Security Administration. To learn more about the specific degree go to this link: http://www.csn.edu/PDFFiles/Degree%20Sheets/AAS%20-%20AVIATION%20TECHNOLOGY.pdf To learn more about CSN go to http://www.csn.edu/ Good luck!
Answer 2 :
You're right... there aren't any in Nevada that offer anything more than an associate's degree (airlines require a bachelor's). Utah State University has Bachelor degrees in professional pilot and aircraft maintenance. It is also accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International and a member of the University of Aviation Association. Some other good aviation schools include Arizona State University, Mount San Antonio College, Purdue University (IN), and University of North Dakota.
Answer 3 :
Check and see if there are any other schools in the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) that offer an aviation major. You may be able to attend a school in another western state at reduced tuition rates through the WUE. http://wue.wiche.edu/

Planning on going to CSN (Community College In Nevada) for 1-2 years after National Guard, what classes?
I wanna use CSN (Community College In Nevada) to further my education so I can apply for a better college, or university. -Got my GED with a score of 2820 -Joining National Guard, hope to be Is 44C - Financial Management Technician -Transfering to Nevada National Guard after AIT -Taking Classes in CSN for 1-2 years -Applying for University of Nevada, Reno -Hopefully Majoring in Finance at this point in University Of Nevada (Now what classes should I take in CSN since I obviously didn't finish highschool I got my GED, I don't have alot of credits from highschool either so I'm guessing I'll have to take basic classes such as English, Math, Science, History, etc.) Taking classes online is for social anxiety reetards, and they are crap. Everyone take my advice, never get an online degree, its crap, no best answer sorry...

Answer 1 :
dorms, they are more fun.
Answer 2 :
The University of Southern Nevada does not have on-campus housing. You will have to live in an apartment, although they can help you locate roommates. If you go to forrent.com and enter the zip code where the school is located (89014) it will give you a list of apartments available in the area. The school is located in Henderson which is a nice part of LV.
