i can punt the 35-45 yards and i want to try for a junior college. Later on as a junior i want to go to University of Nevada-Reno to punt. do i have a chance?

Of course you have a chance! I would be really wary of playing with a torn ACL. If you had it repaired you can redamage it very easily. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link...... If you go for it, please be careful.
